All concerned:
I am a rising junior attending North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University majoring in Journalism and minoring in Air Force History. I was informed by a CLT Airport employee (Brendon Washburn) about this awesome job, I am very interested in everything you have to offer. Please keep me in mind when you select individuals to become PSA employees.
There are many things I’d like to accomplish in life such as, graduating college with a Master’s in Journalism and getting started on the right path to a great career. In order to get to that point I have to work hard and dig deep. The career I’d like to pursue is flying military and civilian aircraft. I chose this path not only because I’m passionate about flying but also because I love building social interactions with other people. Being a pilot takes a lot of patience and critical thinking due to the reality that lives are in your hands. That is where the science in flying takes place. To fly it takes both an art and a science to then be able and take to the skies. At a very young age I fell in love with airplanes (this could be because my mother went into labor at the airport), it was then that my true dream of becoming a pilot began. I have the drive to build a career that does not involve running a touchdown or shooting a basket, but to educate the young minds of the future and to fly over this beautiful world, through the never-ending blue sky and over the shiny clear waters. My ultimate dream is to fly (become a pilot). It will be difficult to attain this long-term goal that I have set for myself, but what’s life without a challenge to determine my successful finish. I have made steps to achieving my dreams by volunteering and working with the older adults at Olde Knox Commons, being a youth leader in my church where I coordinated service projects for the youth and mentored elementary minority males. I volunteer with the males students in the summer program at Bradley Middle School, where I taught social skill and leadership skills. I’ve participated in various service projects through JROTC. This has given me leadership opportunities as well as experience in working with diverse populations. I am currently focused on college. I have
began my college journey at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (A&T) since the Fall of 2018 where I was also apart of the Air Force ROTC program “Screaming Blackbirds.” I am finishing up my second semester as a sophomore at North Carolina A&T with my name on the Dean’s List. In order to get on the Dean’s List you have to attain all grades above “passing” and your GPA has to be above a 3.26 because I kept my college GPA above a 3.25.
I have enclosed a resume for your perusal and will be delighted to come in for an interview at your convenience. The best way to reach me are by calling or texting my phone or through my email: 704.773.3360; mjbailey1@aggies.ncat.edu.
Thank you for taking the time to read my resume, and for considering me a nominee for the job, I promise that you will not be disappointed at all!!
Very Respectfully,
Mitchell Jomar Bailey
